The new hydraulic cylinder Type 53 can be hydraulically interlocked in the front end position with a controllable shut-off unit which is integrated into the cylinder. The interlock can also be realized in the back end position. Interlocking systems usual in the market at present are working mechanically and, however, require a complex readjustment at inaccessible locations. In contrast, the hydraulic interlocking mechanism always works in the desired end position due to the used principle.

Type 53 cylinders are designed with tie rods. More mounting types and special designs are possible. Different piston rod ends can be combined with every mounting type.

An essential advantage in maintenance of Type 53 is the fast and simple replacement of the piston rod seal.

• With / without end position cushioning with identical installation dimensions
• Two area ratios phi = 1.4 and phi = 2.0
