These hydraulic cylinders were specially developed for functions, where piston rods and their attached parts have to stay exactly and secure in their position, even when under the impact of great forces.

An interlocking is needed in many areas of hydraulics. In the area of die casting, devices such as gate valves and core pullers are regularly interlocked , in order to prevent unwanted movements of the gate valves and core pullers through the pressure of the liquid metal and to achieve an accurate casting result.

Furthermore, interlockings are used in areas where loads only need to be moved infrequently. In these cases, the interlockings ensure that the pressure supply to the cylinder does not have to run permanently.

For interlockings in the end position we developed a mechanical or hydarulic interlock. When using the hydraulic interlock, the piston rod can be locked in any position.
